AARES 2025 ANNUAL CONFERENCE – MEDIA

We face a range of challenges that are linked to transitioning to a sustainable future, while negotiating pathways towards decarbonisation, preserving biodiversity, and ensuring food security and affordability. This is the focus for leading economists from around Australia and the world meeting in Brisbane (11-14 February) for the 69th Annual Conference of the Australasian Agricultural and Resource Economics Society (AARES). AARES is the pre-eminent society promoting research and tertiary education relevant to Australasia in agricultural, environmental, food, and resource economics and agribusiness.
Media are welcome to attend at the Grand Chancellor Hotel Brisbane, after registering their intention to do so. Please contact Cathy Reade 0413 575 934 to arrange registration for attendance, to organise interviews or with any other queries.
