Contributed Paper Presentations Contributed Paper presentations should be 10 minutes long. There will be 3 minutes available for questions and 2 minutes for change over and set up. Computers, projectors, and screens will be provided in all presentation rooms. Please arrive at your presentation room a few minutes before the start of your Parallel Session and identify yourself to the Session Chair. The last speaker in each Contributed Paper will be the Session Chair unless notified otherwise.
First-time presenter’s award An award is made for the best first-time presenter at the conference. The criteria to qualify for this award are that the presenter should be making their first presentation at an AARES Conference and their first presentation at any national or international conference was no more than 12 months ago. If you qualify, please let your Session Chair know.
Session Chairs The last speaker in each Contributed Paper will be the Session Chair unless notified otherwise. The Session Chair ensures the smooth running of the conference by making sure that the presenters feel welcome and that all technical issues are resolved. There will be audio-visual technicians available to help with any technical issues. The Conference Program is timed to synchronize presentations in parallel sessions to allow audience members to move between presentation rooms. This means that if a paper has been withdrawn, plan to take a recess for 15 minutes and stick to the original schedule.
